Resting in the Lord

It sure feels great to be able to rest in the Lord...

Matthew 11: 28 says, "Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest."

I took a day off today to rest and sought the Lord... Boy was it a good time. Felt so recharged afterwards. It's amazing what a short rest could do to you.

Well in the first place, I felt that I wanted to escape from work. Conditions at workplace somehow reached a boiling point in my life. But thank God for renewing my strength so that I can proceed on with the next lap. Thank you Jesus!

There are so many things at work that is happening and I feel that my position has been constantly compromised and challenged. I was always doing things that were beyond my scope of work and sometimes such feelings really sucks. On top of that I had started becoming more and more engrossed in shares, which is not right. The surroundings are wrong, the inner conditions are wrong, but thank God that He is right!!!!

May He continue to give me the strength to carry on with the next step of the journey ahead...

PS: I have completed by resume as of today!!! Haha something I have procrastinated time and time again...
